Hoya australis
We’re loving Hoya australis in this white ceramic hanging pot. Their sculptural tendrils suspended from a height look almost as if they’re floating. Hoya australis is an easy to care for indoor plant, place in a bright room away from direct sun. In Summer you can be more generous with watering to promote as much growth during the warm weather. Whilst water more sparingly in Winter, as Hoya australis is quite dry tolerant due to its succulent-like, thick waxy leaves.

So Sweet - Sweet Peas
St Patrick's Day is traditionally the best day of the year to plant Sweet Pea seeds in Melbourne.
These beautiful annual climbers will grow up to a height of either 1.8m or 80cm depending on whether it is a dwarf variety or not.
Full of amazing fragrance and colour all through the spring and summer, these showy favourites will give months of interest.
Seedlings and seeds are now available, with lots of different varieties.

Kang Kong or Chinese Spinach (Ipomea aquatica)
This classic leafy Asian green that has an aquatic or semi-aquatic habit. It is a fast growing vegetable and is perennial in tropical regions and treated as an annual in cooler climates.
This versatile green partners well with all Asian flavours like laksa leaf, corainder, ginger, garlic and chilli
Generally used in stir fries but can be steamed and eaten as any other leafy green. Healthy vegetable that is easy to cook and prepare but must be eaten fresh. All parts of the plant are edible.
Plant in a sunny position with ample water. Harvest young leaves regularly and use straight away. The more you harvest the better it produces. Fertilise with maxicrop regularly.
