Creating a lush habitat has never been so easy. Lomandras are hardy Australian natives which tolerate the full range of sun to shade. All varieties develop into a graceful weeping structure ideal for a water feature edge or border. They are wonderful in any landscape as they soften the hard lines of modern architecture and retaining walls plus they offer texture and relief to traditional flower borders.
Tiny flowers appear in spring and summer to lure native birds and bees.
There is such a large range of varieties with different potential heights. Lomandra are suitable in small or large gardens as they offer a varying scale. Lomandra ‘Lime Wave’ grows to a clump 70cm.
‘Tanika’ grows to 60cm and ‘Misty Green’ less than 50cm.
