 DOES YOUR CITRUS HAVE GALLS?

INSECT TRAPS
2 for $16 or $8.99 ea

Gall wasps lay their eggs in the stem of citrus trees, reducing crop yield. Insectrap attracts and traps citrus gall wasp before they can lay. If you have galls swelling up the stem they need to be pruned out before the next generation emerge.

EXPERT TIP-Did you know gall wasps have only a short flight distance so it’s important to tell your neighbours to help reduce the surrounding population. Explain how the galls block the sap flow and over a number of years no nutrients will get to the fruit. Don’t worry about a hard prune. Citrus growers regularly prune their trees to increase production over time. Just remember to give your tree a good feed with Fruit and Citrus Fertiliser after a good haircut.
