PICKLE ME BEETROOT
Pickle Me Beetroot - A classic long and narrow beetroot that is a must for any family salad - narrow sweet deep red beetroots that can be served whole.
Like all vegetables, it must receive a deep soaking when almost dry and regular feeding. Plant in an airy sunny position in well drained soil or a very large pot.
Beetroots are great for pickling, just add whole peppers, bay leaves salt, sugar, cidar vinegar and also add some others herbs such as dill, rosemary, basil to add extra flavour.
